Light Technologies (1C:Enterprise 8. PDM Management of engineering data)

BIT company, within the complex project, implemented at the Light Technologies enterprise a system "1C:PDM Management of engineering data 8", than storage of design and technology documentation is centralized, to accelerate development process, approvals and start in production of new product modifications.

Tasks

Pursuing need of optimization of work of design and technology departments, the company management made the decision on implementation of a new end-to-end information system using which control of both separate business production processes, and the enterprise in general is exercised. As a basis of such system the solutions "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" and "1C:PDM Management of engineering data 8" are selected.

Job

The project is executed within seven months. Work of accounting, personnel department, financial, production, transport departments, a warehouse, design and technology departments is during this time automated. In total in a system 650 employees of holding work.

Result

Thanks to automation of work of design and technology departments different process of approvals accelerated. The uniform base of drawings and technical documentation is created that ensured reliable safety of data and allowed to make the necessary changes quickly.

Further we are going to automate some more the directions and to geographically expand a system".
