With system implementation of satellite monitoring of Novgorod PMK-1 transport saves up to 40% for fuel costs

In May, 2012 a part of special equipment belonging to the company "Novgorod PMK-1", is equipped with a satellite system GLONASS/ GPS- monitoring Omnicomm. Works in the project are conducted by the company GLONASS OMNICOMM.

Result

As the chief of planned and technical department of Novgorod PMK-1 company, Shirokov Ivan Viktorovich, 3 months later after installation of the Omnicomm system noted, the analytics of indicators of work of the equipped special equipment which showed that the consumption of fuel and lubricants was cut for 40% was carried out. He added that if earlier consumption of fuel was written off on engine hours, then now – only proceeding from system indicators. Besides, it became possible to plan loading of the equipment in advance and to keep a time recording on each unit.
