The Victoria company integrated use of the software solution IBM SmartCloud for Social Business into business processes, the press service of IBM company reported on October 1, 2012.
Objectives
The organization faced a problem of the choice of the IT platform at business start. Except postal service of the company the portal solution in project activity and effective joint work with documents and also is necessary for problem definition and control of project implementation of the company. At the same time the solution had to provide relevant to tasks of the company functionality, providing at the same time price efficiency.
Solution
Considering different options of solutions, the Victoria company stopped on the solution IBM SmartCloud for Social Business integrating all necessary functionality. Before making decision on the choice of a specific cloud service and acquisition of an annual subscription within two months the company worked with the fact-finding version of SmartCloud to estimate efficiency of all its tools for tasks of the company.
The key functionality involved by the company:
- postal service, calendars and contacts of IBM SmartCloud iNotes without which it is impossible to provide work of modern office;
- the portal solution IBM SmartCloud Engage allowing to organize easy exchange of documents and effective joint work, forums with a possibility of history logging of work on documents and tasks and also transactions (Activities) for accomplishment of small projects or separate stages of the big project.
