The administration of the city district of Yakutsk signed the agreement of Microsoft Enterprise Agreement Subscription on 250 workstations

Softline announced on October 2, 2012 the conclusion of the license agreement Microsoft Enterprise Agreement with City administration of Yakutsk.

Situation

City administration of Yakutsk - executive body of the city district which part more than ten managements, departments and the commissions are. The general park of the operating computers - 250 workstations.

For the purpose of increase in level of informatization of authorities in the Sakha (Yakutia) Republic the City administration of Yakutsk made the decision to sign with Microsoft corporation the uniform agreement on licensing of a product line – Microsoft Enterprise Agreement, intended for the organizations ready to select the Microsoft platform as the corporate standard which computer park makes more than 250 workstations. As a result of the tender the Softline company which made the optimal proposal is selected.

"Microsoft Enterprise Agreement is an ideal scheme of purchase of the software as allows to control completely the means spent for this item of expenditure. The cost of licenses remains to a constant during the term of the agreement, besides, the organization acquires the right to use these privileges and on the computers purchased after agreement signature", – Nikita Samoylenko, the manager with large public institutions of representative office of Softline in Khabarovsk says.

Parameters

The three-year agreement with Softline gives to City administration the chance of acquisition of license programs for the PC park, with payment by installments, to reduce total ownership cost licenses as payment under the contract will be made in the form of annual payments that will allow to avoid large one-time investments to the sphere of the software. Besides, standardization on the Microsoft platform leads to significant reducing costs for training and user support.

"Transition to use of the licensed software of Microsoft will allow our organization to reduce purchase costs, support and a software update, at the same time, guaranteeing license purity and also efficiency and stability of work of solutions. Besides, we are reliably insured from possible price increase in connection with a release of new versions of products", – Alexander Ignatyev, the director of the Center of information technologies of the city district Yakutsk noted.
