St. Petersburg State University is lifted by the authority solutions of the joint communications

The Polycom company completed participation in the project where together with St. Petersburg State University (SPbSU) implemented the solutions Polycom RealPresence Platform (Polycom of RMX 4000) and RealPresence Room solutions (Polycom HDX Series) with the purpose to provide to students high quality of training, to improve communications between employees and students. Project completion was announced by the company integrator on October 16, 2012.

Objectives

To raise the authority on the international community of educational institutions, the administration of SPbSU decided to implement the joint communications at the university and selected for this purpose the solution of Polycom which includes both mobile devices, and the systems of telepresence with effect of complete immersion.

Employees and students of SPbSU got access to solutions of video conference Polycom RealPresence thanks to which interaction happens to a number of the foreign universities at higher technological level.
