All-Russian Volunteer Fire Society (ARVFS)

Having passed a way from the Imperial Russian Firefighter of Society (IRFS) to the All-Russian Voluntary Firefighter of Society (ARVFS) – the all-Russian public organization of a new formation and thanks to broad educational work with the population, fire volunteering saved lives to millions of Russians. Fight against fiery elements, the fires and ignitions – case of brave people, the qualified professionals. Today in the ranks of VDPO over 40 thousand members and citizens who are voluntarily fulfilling public duties in the field of fire safety and protection against emergency in rural localities, the small cities and on objects of all Russian Federation.

VDPO are more than 300 fire-prevention formations with a total number more than 1600 people at which on arms over 200 units of the special equipment consist. With great success practice of creation of groups on fire preventive maintenance of the enterprises and the organizations extends.
