NiceVision Net 2.5

The NICE Systems company provided in the fall of 2012 a new software version for security video surveillance of NiceVision Net 2.5 with the Highlights Update Pack 1 (UP1) service pack. In Net 2.5 UP1 the high-performance SVR-9415 server platform is used, the storage system with support of HDD with a general capacity up to 33 TB is increased and more structured, the Site Dashboard dashboard of the operator of a system of IP video surveillance, etc. is improved. Moreover, NetVision is integrated with ATM terminals and banking systems now, and its cost is comparable to the prices of analogs with a smaller performance.

The Net 2.5 Update Pack 1 service pack provides expansion of functionality of a system in all directions, including video surveillance in real time (Maximizing Video), an open architecture (Open&IP Friendly), flexibility (Versatile Offering) and high performance (Extreme Performance). At the same time the updated system of IP video surveillance is based on the SVR platform thanks to what can work with the SVR9200, SVR9420, SVR9620 and NVS1200 video recorders having the capacity of archive 24 TB, 27 TB, 30 TB and 33 TB.

It is considerable function of automatic detection of ONVIF - the compatible and supported UPnP of network devices which search was performed to the IP addresses earlier allows to simplify and accelerate process of installation of the updated NiceVision system. Moreover, active hyperlinks to web pages of IP cameras are added to Net 2.5 Update Pack 1 thanks to what the system of IP video surveillance provides quick and simple access to the main and additional settings of each surveillance camera via the web interface without use of the browser, input of its URL and long verification of powers.

Net 2.5 UP 1 supports advanced bank services (Banking Package), including an industry panel (Branch Dashboard), and for quick access to settings of devices of video surveillance and details a system provides integration of the IP equipment and applications into ATM terminals. Thanks to it, the updated system of IP video surveillance allows the operator of a message search of video records in the identification number of the terminal, its location and time of access and also to monitor such actions of clients of bank as money withdrawal and other card transactions, to save on external carriers and to export video from the IP cameras of video surveillance installed in ATMs.

For creation of comfortable conditions to the operator of a system the user interface of the software NiceVision ControlCenter which was earlier providing necessary tools for work with video records, video monitoring and situational management in the new version of software of Net 2.5 UP1 is a part of the Site Dashboard dashboard thanks to what the system of IP video surveillance allows to execute the following transactions:

• appoint color indication for the toolbar buttons (which provide an output to the monitor of images from the specific IP camera or the sector of video filming) and, thereby, instantly to draw attention of the operator;
• configure the modes and cases of indication;
• display a situation on a remote object of video surveillance by one mouse click;
• display the operator of a system information on the events which are at the same time taking place on the different objects territorial and remote from each other;
• to automatically group/filter events in the IP video system according to their importance, a location, etc.

For effective system operation with applications for smartphones, PDA, etc. in the version of Net 2.5 UP1 are available several new setup options of NiceVision WSA (Web&Smartphone Application). In particular, the system of IP video surveillance allows to exercise via mobile devices control PTZ functions of cameras which was earlier limited only to preseta and also relocation of channels from the main menu in the name, viewing on the monitor of video surveillance of hints (display of a complete name of channels) and so forth.

Allows minimize number of false alarms from the security sensors used in the NiceVision system a new feature of Alarm Snoozing using which it is possible to set a time frame after which the system of IP video surveillance activates the disturbing notification. Thanks to it, the possibility of incorrect response and operation to false alarms is excluded. Also changes on management of PTZ functions of surveillance cameras are made to Net 2.5 Update Pack 1. If in the previous version of a system panning and an inclination of cameras could be executed in eight directions on 0 °, 45 °, 90 °, 135 °, 180 °, 225 °, 270 ° or 315 °, then in Net 2.5 UP 1 — on any axes on 360 °. Change of scale of a scene of video surveillance by means of a mouse wheel is available to additional convenience of work with video images.
