Demidov Ivan Ivanovich is ex-Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation. Former head of the department of humanitarian policy and public relations of Russian President's Domestic Policy Directorate. Biography
Ivan Demidov was born on July 23, 1963 in the city of Syzran of the Kuibyshev region (nowadays - the Samara region), Russia.
From 10 years actively participated in work as the nursery of TV-studio "Tovarishch", played in performances before leaving school.

On June 10, 1999 - at a meeting of MNVK shareholder council it was again appointed the deputy CEO of MNVK. Also again was a part of Board of Directors of MNVK.
2001 - the leader of orthodox TV program Canon. Was the author of a program cycle "How to live in an orthodox way?" with Vladimir Vigilyansky.
On March 29, 2001 - at a meeting of Board of Directors of MNVK it was again approved as the deputy CEO of MNVK.
On April 15, 2001 - said that submitted the withdrawal letter from TV-6 Moscow channel. However denied this information later, having said what the constructive conversation with former employees of NTV, and first of all with Evgeny Kiselyov intends "begin".

Since 2004 - the Chief Editor of National Television Company Zvezda LLC which is belonging to the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation and won tender for the broadcasting right at the 57th frequency in Moscow and the Moscow region.
Since 2005 - the member of editorial council of the social and political magazine "Russky Vzglyad".
2005: The Chief Editor of orthodox TV channel "Saved"
2005 - created public orthodox channel "Saviour" and[3] became his Chief Editor[3].

2012-2013: Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation
On June 13, 2012 it is appointed the Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation supervising cinematography and modernization programs.

Till June, 2013 Ivan Demidov supervised cinema. In June the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Vladimir Medinsky transferred department of cinematography of Ministry of Culture to the direct subordination.
"Demidov, actually, was specially appointed "looking" behind cinema and when cinemas took away from it, the reason to remain in the ministry left. Left it only coaching of department of state support of art and folk art and also modernization programs.
