Biography

Was born in January 20, 1957 in the settlement. Kirovski of Kirovsky district of the Taldy-Kurgan region of the Kazakh SSR.

Education

Graduated from the Rostov higher school of militia.

1994 - graduated from Ministry of Internal Affairs Academy of the USSR.

Military Service

1975 - - served 1977 in the Soviet^[3].

Candidate of Law Sciences.

Career

1979 - For 2003 - worked as the militiaman, the inspector, the operative of criminal investigation department, the senior operative, the assistant department head, the head of department, the chief of the Grozny linear Department of Internal Affairs of the North Caucasian Department of Internal Affairs on transport.

1995 - 1996 - at the government to Doc Zavgayeva held a position of the chief of the republican linear Department of Internal Affairs on transport.

August, 1996 - the division headed by Alkhanov showed fierce resistance to the fighters who captured Grozny.

1997 - 2000 - the chief of linear department of militia to Shakhty of the Rostov region.

Since 1999 - took active part in counter-terrorist operation in Chechnya.

2000 - 2003 - the chief of the Grozny Department of Internal Affairs on transport.

After coming to power in Dzhokhar Dudaev's republic was one of leaders of opposition, the supporter of return of Chechnya to the legal framework of Russia.

2003 - 2004 - the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Chechen Republic.

2004 - 2007 - the president of the Chechen Republic.

2007 - By the decree of the President of the Russian Federation of 2/15/2007 No. 173 it is appointed to the position of the Deputy Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation.

2007 - it was brought out of political council of the Chechen regional department of United Russia into which it entered earlier "as the head of the republic".

As the Deputy Minister of Justice Alou Alkhanov was a part of a number of the government commissions, including the commissions on affairs of minors and to protection of their rights, the commission on protective measures in foreign trade and customs and tariff policy, the commission on assessment of effectiveness of activity of federal and regional executive authorities, the commission on issues of development of power industry, supervised financial and economic and scientific activity in Ministry of Justice.

April, 2010 - is elected by the Chairman of the Committee on ethics of the Football Union of Russia.

On August 10, 2011 -^[4] resigned in connection with employment in public service]^[5][4][5].

On November 3, 2011 - the member of Coordination Council at Head department of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation across the Rostov region^[6].

2012 - there was the head of the board of trustees of the National Student's Football League (NSFL)^[7].

Awards and titles

• 2005 - it is awarded the order to Ahmad Kadyrov "for the exclusive merits connected with development of statehood, achievements in work, consolidation of peace, friendship and cooperation between the people promoting prosperity and glory of the Chechen Republic".

• 2005 - the winner of the award "There Is Such Profession — to Protect the Homeland".

• February 15, 2007 - An order "For Merit to the Fatherland" 4th Class - for a big contribution to social and economic development of the republic, strengthening of the Russian statehood and the constitutional system^[9].

• January 20, 2007 - The certificate of honor of the Government of the Russian Federation - for a big personal deposit in an economic recovery and the social sphere of the Chechen Republic.

• Courage award.

• On October 12, 2011 - for the achieved labor success and long-term fair work^[3].

• It is mentioned by personalized gratitude of the President of the Russian Federation for participation in providing a referendum in the Chechen Republic.

Since 2007 - the valid state councilor of justice of the Russian Federation of 1 class.

On May 9, 2004 during terrorist attack at the Grozny stadium "Dynamo" Alkhanov was wounded.
