NPK "Mining machines" develops the failsafe managed virtual corporate IT environment

AMI completed the works on creation of IT infrastructure of NPK "Mining machines", the company integrator reported on November 29, 2012.

Solution

Within the project specialists of AMI company perform planning, design and modeling of basic IT services, services of virtualization and IT security, services of collective interaction based on products Microsoft Lync Server, Exchange Server and Sharepoint Server and also the services of management, monitoring and backup based on a product line of System Center corresponding to the customer's business requirements.

For deployment of the failsafe managed virtual environment design, delivery and commissioning of the necessary hardware based on blade-technologies with the increased fault tolerance and hot swap of modules of the equipment is executed. Use of SAN technologies and the equipment IBM BladeCenter allowed to receive the reliable solution without uniform point of failure.

Within the project the recommendations about standardization and consolidation of IT services on the basis of Microsoft Operations Framework (MOF) 4.0 are also created, project and operational documentation according to Microsoft Solutions Framework is developed, including:

• functional specifications of services and systems;
• engineering design;
• operating instructions of services and services (Operation Guide);
• plan of backup and recovery;
• plan of functional testing;
• the plan of implementation of the developed systems.

Joint efforts of specialists of Mining machines AMI and NPK company in the terms provided by the project execute implementation of the most critical services for business (a corporate mail system, service of Internet access) ensuring increase in productivity and safety of work of users.
