2013. Updating and expansion of functionality

The Riverbed Technology company announced on May 20, 2013 release of the new platform which will allow any client to provide the controller of delivery of applications "as service" (ADCaaS) using the controller of services Stingray. It will allow to automate deployment of services on delivery of applications for any network architecture, including the program configured networks (SDN).

If before ADC were unrolled in network-centric model where one software solution was the share of each hardware controller of delivery of applications (ADC), and in other situations functioning of several applications was ensured by uniform infrastructure of ADC, then with the advent of the controller of services Riverbed Stingray became possible to use separate ADC on each application. It allows to work with the changing applications, architecture of a data processing center, workflows and operational models which require the architecture of ADC of new generation capable to fix the available problems and at the same time providing higher dynamism, the high level of automation and fast preparation of new services for work directly. The highly effective ADCaaS technology of Riverbed company allows suppliers of cloud services and users of private clouds now an opportunity to prepare, scale and unroll ADC as required.
