Kazkommertsbank completed certification of infrastructure on compliance to the PCI DSS standard

Kazkommertsbank confirmed compliance of infrastructure of bank to the international standard of information security [[PCI DSS - Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard - An information protection standard in the field of payment cards of the PCI DSS v.2.0 payment cards, the press service of bank reported on December 20, 2012.

Implementation

Preparation and carrying out certification of Kazkommertsbank on compliance to requirements of the PCI DSS v.2.0 standard are performed with the assistance of the Danish consulting company in the field of IT security of FortConsult A/S.

On a regular basis of KAZKOM will confirm compliance to the PCI DSS standards, participating in quarterly and annual checks of auditors".

Preparation for audit consisted of several steps during which are carried out: a preliminary estimate of compliance to requirements of the standard, elimination of the revealed discrepancies, final compliance audit to requirements of PCI DSS.
