History

FortConsult is founded in 2002 by the IT expert in security issues Ulf Munkedal.

Founder

The founder and the CEO of FortConsult Ulf Munkedal has work experience in engineering and works with IT security since 1992.

In 1997 he became the cofounder of the company on ensuring IT security of Neupart & Munkedal which was renamed afterwards into VIGILANTe in connection with introduction on the American market. VIGILANTe was one of the first security companies in the world which carried out penetration test. Ulf Munkedal is considered a pioneer in Denmark in IT security, and he substantially promoted the articles, comments and participation in conferences to development of discussions in the field of security.

Property

The most part of the company belongs to the founder of the company Ulf Munkedal. The chairman of the board of FortConsult of Stig Hyolledig owns 10% of stocks of the company, the others belong to employees.
