Application of GLONASS in the Astrakhan region

2016

For the beginning of 2016 about 75 units of the utility equipment of housing and public Utilities Municipal Unitary Enterprise of Harabalinsky district of the Astrakhan region are connected to GLONASS system. As a part of the municipal enterprise of 12 organizations performing business activities and service of housing stock in the territory of the area. Cars are equipped GLONASSGPS system / monitoring and fuel level sensors.

Navigation equipment is also installed on 15 school buses of Akhtubinsk of the Astrakhan region. Equipment allows to increase the security level of children's transportations and also to control the high-speed mode and a route of the vehicle. At present the system of satellite monitoring covers about 200 school buses that makes nearly 100% of the total number of all vehicle fleet of area and Astrakhan.

Including at the initiative of administration Mr. Kamyzyak 17 units of public transport are equipped. GLONASS/GPS the equipment are equipped cars of such state institutions as Council of People's Deputies Mr. Kamyzyak, Department of affairs of culture, youth and sport, "with GUCh the Kamyzyaksky center of social service of the population", Control Accounts Chamber of MO "City of Kamyzyak".

Within the project it is planned that all public transport of districts of the area will be equipped with the necessary equipment with a further transmission function of information in divisions of the emergency operational services on duty and dispatching with uniform number "112". It will allow to reduce time of response to the road accidents and emergencies.

2012

In the Astrakhan region the implementation project of a system of a call of the emergency operational services through uniform number "112" based on uniform services of municipal entities on duty and dispatching within which the equipment of GLONASS equips public, passenger transport, transport of emergency services, school buses proceeds, the UNDS-Astrakhan company reported on December 27, 2012.

As of December 27, 2012 specialists of UNDS-Astrakhan LLC carry out equipment of public transport of Limansky, Narimanovsky, Kamyzyaksky districts. In the long term services of the Krasnoyarsk district, in line some other districts of the area will be connected to the system of satellite monitoring.

- The EDDS organization promotes coordination of actions of emergency services at occurrence of extreme situations, their rapid response. Connection of transport of departmental and municipal authorities to a system to "System-112" allows to conduct traffic monitoring, to redirect machines in case of need along a certain route, to reduce arrival time of the help, - the head of UNDS-Astrakhan LLC Andrey Shekhmeyster emphasized.
