January 8: Birthday of Alexander Gorbatko

On January 8 the birth is celebrated by Alexander Gorbatko, the head of department of communication of DIT of Moscow.

One more birthday boy of day -Nikolay Krachun, the famous IT manager at different times heading departments of information technologies of the large companies, for example, "Chupa Chups" and Tape. Was one of founders of ItSMF Russia, the Chief Editor of ITSMportal.ru, the member of expert advice of "SPb CIO Club".

January 9: Birthday of Ruslan Gattarov

On January 9 Ruslan Gattarov, since September, 2011 the commission chairman of council for interaction of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation with legislative (representative) public authorities of the subjects of the Russian Federation on development of information society was born.

One more birthday boy of day -Oleg Knishka, the head of department of consulting of HRM "ASAP Consulting".

This day in 1992 there began the work the Moscow Exchange (MICEX-RTS).

January 10: Birthday of Donald Cnut

This day Donald Ervin Cnut — the American scientist, honorary professor of Stanford University and several other universities in the different countries, the teacher and the ideologist of programming, the author of 19 monographs (including a number of classical books on programming) and more than 160 articles, the developer of several known software technologies was born. The author of a world famous series of books devoted to the main algorithms and methods of calculus mathematics and also the creator of desktop publishing systems of TEX and METAFONT.

On January 10 Ruslan Evseev, the director of the St. Petersburg branch of Rostelecom was born, earlier held the CEO's position "TV companies the St. Petersburg cable television" until purchase the last Rostelecom.

On Thursday Danila Vaskevich, the CEO "White wind Retail network" was also born.

January 11

The 11th Mikhail Bondarenko, earlier the CEO of Sitronics Telecom of Solutions (STS) and the chairman of the board of directors of STS CZ was born. In May, 2012 left the company on personal circumstances. Its place was taken by Alexander Pyavkin.

January 12: Birthday of Sergey Kalina

On Saturday a birthday is celebrated by Sergey Kalin, the founder and the president of Open Technologies company. From 1979 to 1994 worked at Institute of exact mechanics and ADP equipment of S.A. Lebedev of Academy of Sciences of the USSR in a development team of the Elbrus-2 supercomputer. In 1991 left science in business and held a post of the marketing vice president and to sales in "The Moscow center SPARC technologies". In 1994 together with partners created Open Technologies company.

One more birthday boy of day -Mark Tverdynin, the director of the Russian Association for Electronic Communications (NP RAEC), the chairman of the board of Regional public organization "Center of Internet Technologies" (ROTsIT), the first deputy chairman of the organizing committee of tender on award of an annual National award for a contribution to development of the Russian network segment the Internet Runet Prize.

Also on January 12 Xiong Lening, the president of regional department of Huawei across Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Armenia since May, 2012 was born.

On January 12 was born also Denis Kalinin, the managing director "Sberbank-Technologies", worked in IBS DataFort, Rambler and RBC companies earlier.

January 13: Day of a Russian press

January 13 - Day of a Russian press. On January 13, 1703 in Moscow there was first issue of the Russian-language printing newspaper Vedomosti which was called: "Vedomosti about military and other affairs, worthy knowledge and memories which happened in the Moscow State and in other neighboring countries". This holiday was founded instead of "Day of the Soviet printing" — on May 5 which was dated for a release of the first issue of the bolsheviksky newspaper Pravda. On January 13, in Day of a Russian press, since 1997, there takes place the award of the President of Russia in the field of media and grants for support of projects of young journalists.
