The Sophos company provided in January, 2013 Sophos EndUser Protection — new approach to licensing of software products within security of own devices used by the staff of companies (BYOD), and growth of their application in work of mobile personnel.

Sophos EndUser Protection is a license for the specific user and ensuring the consolidated security of all its devices, unlike traditional solutions which are proposed by licenses for each separate device. It means that each user in the organization where he was, on the basis of one license receives protection of all the devices: from desktop computers with the Windows and Mac systems to mobile iPhones and iPad and also devices running Android.

Such approach raises including efficiency and simplicity of security and control of all devices which employees use for access to corporate data. Sophos EndUser Protection combines advanced technologies of protection of workstations and mobile device management (MDM) and significantly reduces the load of IT departments connected with rapid distribution of BYOD.
