JSC Uzbektelekom implements GIS technologies in production processes

The representative office of I-Teco in Tashkent announced on January 16, 2013 project completion on creation of a geographic information system for Uzbektelekom joint-stock company. In product quality development of ESRI company - ArcGIS is used.

The management of the organization customer made the decision to create the system of centralized accounting of the arriving information on objects with the binding to geodata providing with the additional internal automated analytical services target divisions.

In March, 2012 during consideration of tender scenarios of implementation of a geographic information system for Uzbektelekom company the project of I-Teco company, together with ESRI company is recognized the most optimal.

Solution

Creation of a system for JSC Uzbektelekom underwent in several stages, including development of architecture and a complex of working and project documents, supply of equipment and the software of ArcGIS, installation, installation, setup of the central servers and automatic jobs, a complex of commissioning for a system core and also user training from the customer.

GIS put into operation in November, 2012 allows to perform operational data analysis, to manage the available resources, it is rational to plan development of network, to keep the cadastral registration of objects of communication and also to visualize geospatial data with indication of telecommunication infrastructure.
