Biography

Education

Graduated from medical faculty of the 2nd Moscow medical institute of N.I. Pirogov (the Russian State Medical University) in 1981 in Medical Case.

Career

From 1981 to 1983 studied in a clinical internship at department of eye diseases of medical faculty 2 MOLGMI. During the period from 1985 to 1989 completed the correspondence postgraduate studies at department of eye diseases 2 MOLGMI (the research supervisor - the academician of the Russian Academy of Medical Science, professor A.P. Nesterov) and in 1990 defended the master's thesis in MNTK "Eye Microsurgery" of Fyodorov on a subject: "Pathogenetic the focused drug treatment of the progressing short-sightedness of weak and average degree".

From 1989 to 2003 - worked scientific, senior scientific and the leading researcher in Problem research laboratory of the Russian state medical university (the research supervisor - the academician of the Russian Academy of Medical Science, professor A.P. Nesterov) at department of eye diseases of medical faculty which is one of the leading clinics of Russia on a problem of studying of glaucoma.

Since 1998 the Russian Foreign Ministry directs the ophthalmologic Center at clinic of MGIMO (University).

Achievements, awards

In 1998 defended the doctoral dissertation in the Academic Council of MNTK "Eye Microsurgery" of Fyodorov on the subject "The Purchased Short-sightedness — Diagnostics, Clinic, Treatment".

The author of 8 patents of the Russian Federation by new methods of diagnostics and treatment of short-sightedness, glaucoma and pathology of a retina.
