Gazprom Neft implements the mobile solution of visualization of operational production indicators

The OT-OIL company completed the project on visualization of operational production indicators on mobile devices in JSC Gazprom Neft, the company integrator reported on February 25, 2013.

By the beginning

In October, 2012 the OT-OIL company won the tender for visualization of operational production indicators on mobile devices in JSC Gazprom Neft. Works are performed during the period from 10/22/2012 till 12/28/2012.

Tasks

Main objective of development and deployment of a system - ensuring mobile access for the management of exploration and production block to up-to-date information on operational production indicators of divisions of the company and providing a possibility of the express analysis of the displayed indicators.

Functional framework of the project includes groups of indicators for visualization:

• accomplishment of the plan for current month;
• accomplishment of the plan for the current year;
• diagrams on production;
• "Checkerwork" on accomplishment of production indicators;
• transfer of the existing reports in a System;
• trend on oil production;
• the operational report on production - day;
• the operational report on production - month.

Solution

In technical implementation of the project applied the Roambi platform, MeLLmo developer and, in particular, its components: Roambi ES, Roambi Analytics and Roambi Flow.

Analysts and OT-OIL developers jointly with specialists of "Rus-Bee-Ay Sistems" company executed deployment of the system software, created the approved visual representation of groups of indicators.

Safety of remote access from mobile devices to sources of information is ensured by specialists of ITSC company through secure channels of communication.

The CEO of OT-OIL Ltd Ivan Mugalev noted: "The last three years of JSC Gazprom Neft actively created Corporate Databanks, not only saving intellectual property, but also creating a basis for further monitoring and the analysis of history of development of fields. In particular, Storage GTMOV, Geological and Hydrodynamic Models, Electronic Case of the well, including archive of trade and geological information, were organized based on our product the ATOLL. The executed project on information analysis belongs to the third step after collecting (accounting) and information storage. It reflects a current trend not only in the field of operational information analysis, but also in the field of preparation of forecasting of situations and models of processes for perspective".

According to the director of the department of information systems of the direction exploration and production of ITSC LLC of Egor Moskvitin, "... the project was one of the first in the company, implemented within the strategy of BYOD gaining popularity in the IT world. The legal and geographically-distributed structure of a project team and also deadlines of execution of the project (2 months) were not a barrier to achievement of key result – concentration of preferences of heads on personal devices when holding production meetings with cross assessment of production data using several instruments of information analysis".

The head on ITAT (BRD) JSC Gazprom Neft Konstantin Azovtsev concluded: "The exploration and production block of JSC Gazprom Neft went through a stage of storage and information processing only on the equipment and tools of the Company. Within the project the new round of the relations of users and data – use by heads of Exploration and production block of information on the mobile devices according to security policy of the Company is tested. The selected architecture of IT solution is aimed at increase in dynamism of business, labor productivity and efficiency of assets".
