VimpelCom gives service of broadband access networks of six regions to the third-party contractor

NVision Group and JSC VimpelCom announced on March 4, 2013 conclusion of an agreement on transfer of expanded service functions of broadband access networks in the Ural, Siberian, Northwest, Central, Southern and Moscow regions for a period of 5 years.


Standards

According to the agreement, NVision Group will undertake functions on connection of new subscribers and service (except for the Central region) broadband access networks in the territory of the specified regions. Within this agreement about 2500 people from technical unit of JSC VimpelCom across all Russia will pass to work into NVision.

The CEO of JSC VimpelCom Anton Kudryashov noted: "The similar projects implemented by us earlier showed excellent results. They positively affected as quality of the provided products for end consumers, and business processes in the company, having allowed us to concentrate on spheres of business, key for us, and to improve their indicators. It is sure that the vast experience of NVision Group in this area will help us to seize this result still. In return we are going to work further on increase in business performance of broadband access and also to improve service quality of subscribers, to expand the range of services based on IPTV and broadband access networks and to develop new attractive marketing offers".
Oleg Allenov, the director of a division of work with telecom operators of NVision Group, emphasized: "Such large-scale and long-term project proves that Russia supports a universal trend – increase in demand for professional services, especially in the field of telecommunications. Not so long ago we opened the specialized Center of operation of networks where our specialists develop effective techniques and the innovation tools for service of the distributed IT infrastructures. In this project we will get wealth of experience and we will be able to develop new service models which will be useful to both other clients, and the market in general".
