The LanKey system integrator unrolled wireless infrastructure on the platform of the equipment Cisco Systems in the innovation center Skolkovo, the press service of integrator reported on March 5, 2013.

By request of one of the participating companies of the center Skolkovo, LanKey system integrator were executed by the project on the organization of a wireless network in the territory of the innovation center. Specialists of LanKey build a wireless network on the basis of the equipment Cisco Systems. Two WLC 5508 controllers are implemented, external and internal access points of AIR-CAP3502, the software of Cisco Prime and also the Mobility Services Engine (MSE) server are set.

Frequencies and components

The wireless network provides users with access on the frequency ranges of 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. Implementation of two controllers helped to achieve fault tolerance at which, in case of shutdown of the main controller, access points are associated with the reserve controller.

Intellectual services Cisco support balancing of clients between points, automatic control of settings of access points in case of detection of noises for optimization of a coverage, use of complex security policies and detection of interfering sources.

The Cisco Mobility Services Engine server displays coverages, wireless clients and interfering sources on the plan of the premises, besides the server serves as an intrusion prevention system, ensuring complex safety of perimeter.
