2017: Purchase of software updatings of Oracle

In June, 2017 MGTS published information on purchase at the only source (MTS) of service packs of programs of Oracle. The cost of the agreement - 46.5 million rubles. Updates should be delivered during the period from June, 2017 to June, 2019. Other details about purchase are not disclosed.^[1]

2015: Transition to the ERP system of Oracle E-Business Suite

On April 21, 2015 JSC Moscow City Telephone Network (MCTN) announced completion of integration of an information system at the Oracle E-Business Suite platform.

The IC covered about 2 thousand jobs and all key activities of the customer:

• management of finance,
• logistics management,
• order management,
• project management
• personnel management.

Transition to a full-scale ERP system of Oracle E-Business Suite provided synchronization of business processes of MGTS and parent company – JSC Mobile TeleSystems (MTS). NVision Group acted as the partner in the project.

Resource management system implementation in MGTS is conducted within the strategy of Group of MTS on unification and consolidation of IT solutions. Transition to Oracle E-Business Suite allowed to carry out standardization of business processes in MGTS and to transfer them to the uniform ERP platform. Within the project the specifics of MGTS as the multiservice telecom operator providing communication services and the innovation services for all categories of subscribers are considered: public authorities, the commercial organizations, telecom operators and private subscribers, on the basis of GPON network. Using the additional multidimensional application for control of OPEX on the Oracle Hyperion Planning platform of analytics of MGTS can plan in details staff costs, estimate investment soundness and marketing actions.

Integration of the ERP system with a software package of management of capital construction (UKS PC) using which MGTS contacts to contractors is made and controls construction of GPON networks. Data from Oracle E-Business Suite are duplicated in the UKS PC, electronic document management between systems is adjusted that considerably simplified process of purchases.

2013: Start of the project of transition from SAP to Oracle

The director of the department of development ERP and fixed connection of the IT block of the corporate center MTS Sabiryan Shambazov announced plans of transition of subsidiary company MGTS with SAP on Oracle, the press service of operator reported on March 28, 2013.

Is going to begin with financial accounting in the company.

MTS announced completion of transition to the 12th version of Oracle e-Business Suite. This solution will be deployed also in MGTS.

Before the parent company worked at version 11i, as the contractor on the project of migration Sitronics IT acted.

Delivery of licenses is conducted within the three-year corporate agreement of MTS with Oracle which extends to the child organizations. It is supposed that the number of licenses will be about 2 thousand jobs.
