Registration of TimeVisor trademark in Rospatent
On October 7, 2020, NPF Krug announced that the TimeVisor trademark was registered with the Federal Intellectual Property Service (Rospatent).
The TimeVisor unified time server is designed for high-precision time synchronization of network subscribers included in information and control systems for various purposes:
- Automated commercial metering systems for resources (especially energy resources)
- Distributed Enterprise Information Systems
- Industrial automation systems
- Automated Payment Systems
- Automated transport management systems
Among the features of TimeVisor SEB:
- high synchronization accuracy, which also meets the requirements for APCS in power engineering (RD 153-34.1-35.127-2002): absolute error limits ± 10 μs
- small dimensions
- possibility of application in industrial operating conditions
- 100% Hot Spare
- Easy setup and operation.
Equipping TimeVisor with a time synchronization receiver of small dimensions (60x97 mm)
On January 14, 2020, the company Circle, NPF announced that server the TimeVisor uniform time is equipped with a different antenna (time synchronization receiver). The antenna has small overall dimensions (60x97 mm) and weight (0.3 kg), which greatly facilitates its installation.
TimeVisor SEV is designed to provide high-precision synchronization of the time of network subscribers (up to ± 10 μs), which are part of various information and control systems. The source of UTC (SU )/UTC for TimeVisor CEB is a global radio receiver (navigation satellite systems GNSS )/combined with GLONASSGPS the active antenna. The receiver has a dust and moisture-proof housing and is placed outdoors, in the open air.
TimeVisor SEV is used in information and control systems, where it is necessary to have an accurate uniform time:
- automated systems for commercial metering of energy resources
- distributed enterprise information systems
- industrial automation systems
- automated payment systems
- automated control systems transport and so on.
2016: How TimeVisor works and features
Principle of operation
- Accurate time signals are transmitted from either the GPS Global Positioning System or the Global Navigation Satellite System (). GLONASS
- TimeVisor time packets are transmitted to subscribers using the Network Time Protocol (NTP). To interact with TimeVisor, exact time services are installed and configured on them. Supported operating systems: Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7, Linux, QNX and several others.
- In addition to time adjustments, the Exact Time service adjusts the progress of the computer's system clock, which allows you to save accurate time for an extended period in the event of a network failure.
- An additional (standby) time server can be used to improve reliability and fault tolerance. The reservation is configured when you configure Exact Time Services on subscribers.
As of July 2016, TimeVisor, depending on the settings, provides operation in the following modes:
- "Client/Server." Subscribers periodically send requests to the time server to receive the exact time. Upon receiving the request, the time server immediately sends a response containing the time stamp to the requesting subscriber. This mode allows you to synchronize the time on subscribers with a minimum error.
- "Broadcast." TimeVisor periodically sends accurate time signals to all subscribers of the network. This solution is quite enough to automatically synchronize the time of all network subscribers with relatively low requirements for synchronization error.
Application
There are a number of information systems that require an accurate uniform time. Such systems include:
- Automated systems of commercial accounting of resources (especially energy resources)
- Distributed Enterprise Information Systems
- Industrial automation systems
- Automated payment systems
- Automated transport management systems, etc.
To improve reliability and fault tolerance, it is possible to use an additional (backup) time server. The reservation is configured when you configure Exact Time Services on subscribers. If the main time server is not available, the exact subscriber time services will use the standby server.

The availability of an accurate single time ensures clear synchronization of various transactions in the network, the integrity of distributed data stores, increases security against illegal entry, etc. TimeVisor Time Server avoids many problems with inaccurate time.
2013: Purpose, modes and conditions of TimeVisor application
According to information as of April 2013, the TimeVisor Unified Time Server hardware and software complex is designed to provide high-precision time synchronization of network subscribers included in the system. The source of UTC (Universal Time Corrected - Universal World Time GMT) is the receivers of systems or GPS/GLONASS (modification TimeVisor2) combined with the active antenna. The receiver has a dust and moisture-proof housing and is placed outdoors, in the open air.
GLONASS/ -The GPSTimeVisor Time Server receiver has:
- industrial execution
- high degree of dust and moisture protection
- extended operating temperature range (from - 40˚S to + 60 ˚S).
Placement requirements
GLONASS GPS receiver should be located outdoors, in an open space.
Modes
TimeVisor Time Server supports two modes:
- "broadcast" mode
- "client-server" mode.
