The Optima company completed the works on design and commissioning of the automated electronic document management system (the EXPERT of e-document flow) in the Federal Customs Service.

Using means the EXPERT of e-document flow is performed a full stroke of processing and execution of documents: from their creation or receipt in customs authority, accounting, registration, transfer on execution, approvals, a statement, mailing to addressees before document transfer on archive storage with their subsequent selection to destruction. The developed system is the large-scale and complete solution Optima in the field of document management systems providing use in a single automated system of all functional units of the OPTiMA-WorkFlow platform.

ASSORTED e-document flow is automated process of conversion of large volumes of paper documents to an electronic form due to use of technologies of stream scanning and recognition of texts of documents with bar code marking, their automatic indexing and loading in a system. Exchange of electronic documents, including with the electronic digital signature and ensuring the guaranteed delivery is also provided. It allows to reduce time of passing of documents between geographically distributed customs authorities.

The EXPERT of e-document flow interacts with adjacent information systems of customs authorities, the departmental system of e-mail, a transport technology subsystem, infrastructure of departmental certification centers. In addition, in structure the EXPERT of e-document flow the means necessary for integration with the Interdepartmental electronic document management system (MEDO) are implemented. Now Optima performs maintenance the EXPERT of e-document flow and training of its users in customs authorities, continues to work on development and optimization of the created system.
