The department of agro-industrial complex of the Tyumen region upgraded to the 6th version of electronic archive "Etla"

The department of agro-industrial complex of the Tyumen region completed creation of uniform archive of the work documentation on the basis of the Etla system, with participation in the project of developer company of Atlas Soft, the company reported on April 11, 2013.

Platform

For optimization of work with documents the management of department at the end of 2012 made the decision to automate process of storage and access to all documents of department using the adapted electronic archive.

Main selection terms of a system: high performance, the fastest system deployment in the territory of the customer, ease of use and training. The choice was stopped on the Etla system.

Implementation

Within several days specialists of department with assistance of specialists of Atlas Soft unrolled a system and began formation of archive. For quick entry of documents in a system the module of line scanning of documents which allows to increase significantly document registration speed in a system is used.

For ensuring the most reliable operation of archive the decision on installation of the server of control over functioning of a system which allows to automate and simplify its administration is made.

Enters functions: tracking disk space on the server, control over functioning of servers of the Etla system, automation of backup of documents and the database, verification of integrity of the existing backup copies using checksums, tracking integrity of the performed system modules, including from damage by their virus software.

Transition to the 6th version of archive

On August 2, 2017 the Atlas Soft company announced that the management of Department of agro-industrial complex of the Tyumen region, according to the results of successful use of a system for three years, in 2017 made the decision on transition to the latest version of electronic archive "Etla".

As noted, the solution of the customer was caused by the fact that version 6 gives enhanced capabilities and more full range of subsystems, including:

• the module of automatic recognition (OCR) — with a possibility of extraction of attributes from Searchable PDF;
• ability to manage setup of bilateral scanning from the client of a system;
• possibility of turn and selective removal of the scanned pages in a window of their print preview;
• the optimized mechanism of filling of document templates with reserve words;
• the increased database page size (it is by default changed from 4 CBs to 16 CBs);
• the optimized opening of big tables;
• the mechanism of automatic recovery of connection with the server in case of its loss;
• possibility of creation in the observer of the user folders filters displaying documents according to the set search criterions (a number of the preconfigured filters, for example, the Edited Documents filter displaying all documents edited by the current user is added);
• the updated web client who uses the latest version of Twitter Bootstrap of the 3rd generation now;
• the optimized search in contents of documents.

On a withdrawal of department, transition to the 6th version of electronic archive in general allowed to accelerate work with a system at the expense of the automated document registration mechanisms. Also strongly the possibility of use of a system at the expense of web data access extended.
