Novell prepares (data of April, 2013) for Flir release, the local system of file sharing for the organizations. According to in Novell, it is as convenient as Dropbox, but at the same time allows to manage the stored data "on the terms of the organization user". Flir is delivered in the form of an image of the virtual machine of VMware (options for other hypervisors can appear further). The Windows Server and Novell Open Enterprise servers and access from client devices on Windows platforms of XP/7/8, Mac OS X, Android, iOS and BlackBerry 10 are supported.
There is a function of full-text search according to files and a possibility of their transfer out of limits of corporate network. Novell offers Flir to the enterprises to which local storage of files is more preferable cloud according to requirements of regulations.
