Avia Ashok Leyland Rus (AVIA) (ADempiere)

The Citeck company in December, 2012 completed the project on implementation of the ERP system of ADempiere in AVIA company. Within this project automation of process of purchases, including commodity import, sales process and also inventory and management accounting of the company was carried out.

The first project stage carried out a task of automation of process of purchases: since formation of the purchasing request of materials at the supplier and tracking of process of delivery, finishing with complete calculation for obligations with the supplier. One of project objectives was accounting of cost value of goods with all additional costs. Systems capabilities on distribution of transportation, customs and other costs by batch cost were used for the solution of this task.

Considering the fact that a considerable part of purchases of the company is import, during implementation the functionality was in addition developed for support of foreign economic activity of the enterprise which includes:

• The module of import of information obtained from the customs broker for the subsequent accounting of the customs duties;
• Module of accounting of numbers of the state customs declarations (SCD) and codes of the manufacturing countries of goods;
• Automatic selection of goods during creation of orders taking into account batches and numbers SCD.

Besides, the ERP system automated process of management of sales in the company, beginning from a stage of formation of the sales order (on the basis of the requests arriving from buyers) before shipment and complete payment under obligations with buyers. Also from a system all necessary shipment and finance documents in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation are printed.

During the project integration of ADempiere with an accounting system of 1C was made for loading of arrivals to it and shipments of goods and also with the client bank system for loading in ADempiere of bank statements.

Implementation of the ERP system of ADempiere allowed to make process management of purchases and sales and also inventory and management accounting of the company, more exact, operational and transparent for the management of firm.

The Czech company "AVIA" was founded in 1919 as the producer of airplanes and power units. Today AVIA completely belongs and is a part of the Indian holding "Ashok Leyland Ltd", the production giant producing more than 80.000 units of cargo vehicles a year. A sole distributor of AVIA company in Russia is the "Avia Ashok Leyland Rus" company which is engaged in import and sale of trucks and also spare parts for them.
