The Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation set in workplaces of staff of Office 365, the press service of vendor - Microsoft reported on April 22, 2013.

In 2012 the Financial university integrated with the All-Russian correspondence financial and economic institute, the All-Russian state tax academy and the State university of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation that resulted in need of creation of a new system of communications between users.

"Due to significant growth of number of servers and jobs in the course of consolidation of the Financial university with three other universities loading of department of system administration which is responsible for all networks, servers and network services seriously grew. To us the simple and fast solution which would allow to provide users with the integrated communications was required", - Yury Bykov, the deputy head of department of IT infrastructure of the Financial university emphasized.

Integration

Office 365 is integrated into IT infrastructure of the university. Project implementation took three months. During this time for Windows 8 500 PCs and notebooks intended for employees and also installed in computer classes are translated.
