Bashavtotrans "charges" modules of control of passenger transport with SIM cards of Megafon

SUE Bashavtotrans signed the agreement on use of resources of MegaFon network at the organization of monitoring of the movement of passenger transport, the press service of operator reported on April 23, 2013.

Project essence

Services are provided according to the tender won by MegaFon. The operator provided more than 2 thousand SIM cards for onboard trackers of a system of navigation of "GLONASS" that allows to control movements of passenger transport.

"Daily buses of Bashavtotrans perform more than 14.5 thousand flights, transporting 440 thousand passengers along city, suburban, long-distance and interregional routes. On channels of MegaFon information on location of all vehicles, their operational indicators is transferred to the uniform center. It allows to learn timely about delays of buses, accidents, helps to increase safety of passengers and many other things", – the deputy CEO noted SUE Bashavtotrans Alexander Kolganov.

Within the agreement the operator provides with mobile communication management of Bashavtotrans and 28 branches in the cities and the regions of Bashkortostan.
