Possibility of creation of several virtual DPCs
The service of a public cloud MakeCloud provided by Sbklaud company and focused on medium and small business expanded a range of functions for resource management and costs. The developer reported about it on September 28, 2020. Among important changes – a possibility of creation of several virtual DPCs, advanced instruments of control and analytics and also an additional user role – the Administrator of the project.
Service of a public cloud of MakeCloud (makecloud.ru) is used for September, 2020 by more than 112 thousand users, and many additions are based on a feedback from them. For example, now within one project it is possible to create several virtual data centers. It allows to differentiate more precisely resources and to manage more flexibly projects on their basis. Besides, the possibility of assembling of several disks in one virtual machine is implemented. Based on a hypervisor of KVM it is possible to create VM with any configuration. At the order of the virtual machine instead of the choice from the list of ready configurations it is possible to specify only the necessary CPU, RAM and HDD parameters now.
In addition to a role of the Administrator of the client appeared - the Administrator of the project. This differentiation allows customers to simplify task allocation on management of virtual resources in the commands. The administrator of the project is selected for the specific project and manages only its resources whereas for the client's Administrator all access to financial information and available resources still remains, it also distributes access to projects among Administrators of projects. Such separation is especially convenient for the companies which keep on the MakeCloud resources several projects at once or provide access to the resources to business partners. Possibilities of analytics are significantly expanded: more evident dashbord is created, the expense report on infrastructure is processed, detailing and groupings is added.
REST API of a cloud platform is completely processed. It will allow to automate work with it and will simplify integration of external information systems.

Time for the snapshot: MakeCloud will help users not to forget about backup copies
The Servionica company expanded functionality of service of a public cloud MakeCloud implemented based on OpenStack at the beginning of 2015. Now each user can configure own schedule of creation of snapshots - instant backup copies of virtual machines in the automatic mode.
The method of snapshots – the "instant pictures" of the file system fixing its status is effective for additional "secure" of resources during the period between complete planned backups. The snapshot fixes a status of the file system, including – settings of virtual machines, contents of memory and disks. For formation of the schedule it is enough to user of MakeCloud to set necessary parameters once: a name of the saved image, the maximum quantity of copies, date and time of their creation, the number of repetitions of such mode of preserving. If necessary the schedule can be changed easily via the interface of service. Function is available on all MakeCloud rates.
"Safety and data availability in a public cloud – a key factor on which users judge quality of service. Therefore MakeCloud gives more and more opportunities for convenient data management without additional costs. The automated backup according to the schedule is not only additional security, but also independence of a human factor: MakeCloud will save everything precisely on the set diagram, saving users from costs of time for routine transactions", - [1], the head of IaaS-solutions of Servionica (I-Teco Group) company explained.
Unlike a direct backup, the snapshot does not stop work of the started applications. Using the revert to snapshot function ("return to the snapshot") the user can recover a system status and data to a backup that will allow to get data access even after any failures or nekorrekty actions. In this case both separate files, and system volumes are subject to recovery.
MakeCloud provided to users new control facilities of resource availability
In February, 2015 new expansion of opportunities of public "cloud" MakeCloud is announced – now in it monitoring of availability of service in real time is available. Key indicators of monitoring of operation of virtual servers are automatically displaid in a control panel by service, available to each user in the MakeCloud control panel. The user has an opportunity to control work of key indicators of the servers. Control can sushchestvlyatsya as in real time, and within a certain period.
Innovation – the next step in MakeCloud development directed to permanent quality improvement of service and convenience of work. The user can independently, without spending time for waiting of the answer from a duty shift, to trace a status of the virtual servers and to react quickly to the changing situation.
Network infrastructure of MakeCloud is constructed on Mellanox equipment
Within MakeCloud IaaS-service in September of year the cloud based on high-performance Ethernet of switches of Mellanox company – one of leaders among devices of such class is unrolled. Network infrastructure of MakeCloud is constructed on Mellanox equipment (network adapters, switches and cables). It allowed to increase performance of service due to increase in speed of switching up to 40 Gbit per second, decrease in transmission losses of data packets. Further partnership with Mellanox company will allow to provide service on switches with capacity to 100 Gbit per second with a possibility of unloading of central processors of servers due to technology of direct remote access to RAM (RDMA). Tracking of a status of servers, management of providing IP at a stage of creation of the server, receiving RDP
All these innovations allow technical specialists and system administrators to create virtual infrastructures with thinner settings and to manage them in real time.
Color indication of a status of servers gives an evident picture of the status of virtual resources of the user at once, it is intuitive: red color means an error in operation of the server, the switched-off servers green – working, orange – created are designated by gray. Also verbal designations of the statuses are saved (active, shut-off, etc.).
Among new features – the automated sending the message about parameters of the created virtual machine for the contact e-mail of the user set at registration. One more interesting opportunity – the automated recovery of the virtual machine (VM) from the backup copy: "restore to life" the virtual machine which was mistakenly or it is intentionally disconnected, now it is possible one click, for several seconds.
Servionika enhanced security of MakeCloud
The Servionica (I-Teco Group) company expanded in the fall of 2014 functionality of a cloud platform of MakeCloud, having offered corporate clients service – detection and an intrusion prevention and malware signatures.
The service allows in real time not only to detect, but also to prevent attempts of unauthorized access to data and also to keep the analysis of history of the events concerning security of a system and to create a broad spectrum of reports. The service is developed based on StoneGate - the hardware-software firewall with a possibility of creation of failsafe VPN.
In service hardware VPN, the balancer of a network load, condition monitoring and loadings of servers, the virtual isolated networks (VLAN) are already implemented. MakeCloud is developed on OpenStack – the most dynamically developing IaaS-platform, and is already successfully used as a basis for projects of the companies of the different industries and scales of business.
Servionika will provide access to products of 1C in "cloud"
Servionika signed in November, 2014 the license agreement with 1C Company allowing to provide software products and licenses of one of the largest Russian developers of business applications in lease.
Servionika will provide to clients virtual access to the software solutions of 1C placed on cloud resources of provider — the MakeCloud platform and an Internet show-window of i-Oblako. Also the provider will render services in completion of products 1C under specific needs of the customer, to transfer of a non-standard configuration of IT infrastructure in a cloud and installation of additional software for creation of mobile jobs. The new service of Servionika is especially relevant for the companies with geographically distributed structure of offices: they need to provide access to business applications of 1C to a large number of employees in different regions, and cloud infrastructure allows to organize it without restrictions on efficiency and scaling.
MakeCloud updated supported operating systems
The service of a public cloud MakeCloud provided I-Teco by Servionica (Group) company carried out updating of supported operating systems in November, 2014 and also added to them one more: Microsoft Windows 2012 R2 Standard.
Now users of MakeCloud can use versions of the following OS:

Updating of service
The Servionica company published a number of updates for the platform of MakeCloud IaaS-service, the press service of vendor reported on July 31, 2013.
High speed
As a result of updates of functionality of MakeCloud, on creation of the virtual machine on Linux/*nix OS the user will need about 1 min., and the MS Windows Server setup can be carried out in 5 min. It is result of updating of a system of caching and use of copy-on-write technology.

Routing setup
The functionality of setup of routing between the user's subnets, Amazon EC2 similar to functionality is added to a control interface of service that facilitates setup of virtual machines in a private cloud. For increase in convenience of use in MakeCloud the feature for "hot transfer" for the server from one subnet in another is added. In addition, upgraded versions of a distributed file system, system of virtualization and basic operating system (OS).
Balancer of a network load (LBaaS)
In September, 2013 it was announced new functionality of MakeCloud service. The program balancer of a network load of HTTP/TCP (LBaaS) is available to free public testing now.
The balancer (LBaaS) allows to distribute tasks between two and more virtual servers for optimization of use of virtual resources, performance improvement and fault tolerance. For testing of the balancer of LBaaS it is enough to create two or more virtual servers which will be added then to a balancing pool (manually, through a control panel).
It is possible to test the balancer within October, 2013. Function is available to the registered users, in the automated control panel service. Since November 1, 2013 the balancer will be available in the paid mode as one of elements of the provided virtual infrastructure.
Having received service for testing, within 1 week from the moment of creation of servers you will be able to use all elements free of charge: servers Static Tiny, Static Small, external IP address. "The balancer (LBaaS) - quite difficult element of infrastructure is also expected advanced users of service and IT specialists. Opening this functionality for free testing within a month, we expect a feedback from users which we will surely consider during the further work on MakeCloud development" - Alexey Cherevkov, the head IaaS of Servionica company comments.
Configurations of MakeCloud IaaS-service are the virtual Static Lite servers
The Static Lite configurations are focused on private users and small business to whom it is important that the cost of IaaS-service was low when preserving optimum level of availability and volume of resources. However because of the low cost of the offer, existing for such companies in the market, have a number of restrictions. For example, selecting a hosting or "containers", users received low quality of service and architecture of the platform. Selecting the "selected" server – overpaid for resources which do not use.
MakeCloud offers approach: the guaranteed power at optimal cost and the formalized basic SLA without loss of quality of architecture. Within the Static Lite configuration 30% of power of the processor are guaranteed to the user, and in hours of low loading of service the user will be able to use up to 100% of resources of the processor without additional payment. SLA (Service Level Agreement) for the Static Lite configuration guarantees to the user the fixed response time and the financial responsibility of provider.
Hardware VPN
In October, 2013 the opportunity of creation of tochka-tochka VPN channel was given to users of MakeCloud IaaS-service. It is possible to use the specified functionality, as well as all other elements of infrastructure, from a control panel service.
Earlier in service the functionality of VPN - CloudPipe allowing users to be connected far off to the networks via a secure channel was already implemented. Now, in response to the growing amount of requests from corporate users, the MakeCloud command included in the structure of functionality of VPN based on firewall Cisco ASA allowing to name VPN channels with IPSEC 3DES enciphering. A new opportunity is an optimal solution for integration of infrastructure of several offices or shops.
Virtual servers and CMS
On November 19, 2013 a cloud service of Servionica company - MakeCloud, gives to users new opportunities of deployment of the websites: virtual servers with the set free trial version of CMS "1C Bitrix: Management of the website".

Availability
Users of MakeCloud can rent the virtual server with CentOS OS of any configuration sending an inquiry by means of the automated control panel service. The 1C Bitrix application is available in trial 30-day free version.
DNS hosting
Since December, 2013 the website and a domain zone can be placed on a single platform, to add, edit and delete domain zones through an automatic form in a control panel with service.
New expansion of functionality of service allows MakeCloud to become even more profitable, in comparison with a normal hosting, the solution for placement and management of web resources. Consolidation of all opportunities for management of the website within one service provides to users saving of time and reducing costs for interaction with different providers, and the qualified technical support - the operational solution of all questions on the principle of "one window". Thus, operational management of creation and work of the website is available even to the users who do not have professional knowledge and experience of administration of web resources now, and costs for their support remain minimum.

MakeCloud start
The company "Servionika", entering into group "I-Teco", announced in April, 2013 MakeCloud start - service using which it is possible to create in several minutes virtual infrastructure for any company of small, medium and large business.
