Biography

Turchak Andrei Anatolyevich was born on December 20, 1975 in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Master of Sports of the USSR in judo.

1991-1995 - Coach-teacher in judo of the municipal youth sports school of the Olympic reserve "Cosmonaut."

1998 - graduated from St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation.

1996 - General Director of AOZT "Commercial and Industrial Company" LenNorth "(subsidiary of HC" Leninets ").

1997 - General Director of the Electric Household Equipment Plant OJSC (the sole founder of the OJSC is the City Property Management Committee of St. Petersburg).

2000 - joined the board of directors of Energomashbank.

2000-2002 - Director for Restructuring, then Director for Corporate Policy of HC Leninets.

2002 - took the position of general director of Sodruzhestvo North-West LLC.

2003 - vice-president and member of the board of directors of HC Leninets, member of the board of directors of the management company Leninets.

May 31, 2005 - was again elected to the board of directors of HC Leninets.

2005: Coordinator of Youth Policy in the United Russia Party

2005 - joined the United Russia party, was appointed coordinator of the party's youth policy. In November 2005, he joined the coordination council of the Young Guard of United Russia.

August 30, 2006 - The bureau of the Supreme Council of United Russia recommended Turchak for the post of member of the Federation Council from the parliament of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug.

2009: Governor of the Pskov Region

February 16, 2009 - Appointed Acting Governor of the Pskov Region.

February 27, 2009 - approved by the Pskov Regional Assembly as governor[1].

November 12, 2010 - took part in the opening ceremony of the new multilateral automobile checkpoint "Ludonka" on the Russian-Latvian border, in the Pytalovsky district of the Pskov region[2].

Until 2012, he was a member of the General Council of the United Russia WFP.

September 29, 2012 - took part in the first program of the 21st season of the humanitarian Olympiad "Clever and Clever Women," which aired on Channel One[3]

The wife of Andrei Turchak also indicated her shares in the authorized capital of the companies for many years: OJSC UK Leninets (0.007%), OJSC Labyrinth (23.62%), LLC InvestService (90%), LLC Aeroinvest Plus (100%), LLC AK-Invest (100%).

In addition, she owns two plots, two residential buildings, a guest house and a share in the apartment (together with her husband)[5].

2013: Apartment sale in Nice

April 2013 - Andrei Turchak sold his apartment in Nice (France) and promised to close the non-profit organization for which the apartment was decorated. Turchak promised that the sale procedure will be completed no later than June 28.

2015: Suspicions of involvement in the beating of journalist Oleg Kashin

In September 2015, the wife of Danil Veselov, accused of beating Oleg Kashin, told the Kommersant newspaper that her husband was instructed to beat the journalist from Andrei Turchak[6]

2017: Resignation from the post of governor of the Pskov region

In October 2017, the Governor of the Pskov Region Andrei Turchak resigned.

Hobbies

In an interview in 2009, when asked about a hobby, he replied:

I work hard, at eleven - half a tenth I get to the pillow - that's all my hobby. Given the fact that my family lives in St. Petersburg and a child was recently born, as soon as free time appears, I vomit there. I can say my hobby is the family[7]
"
