Raiffeisenbank Ltd, SAS Russia/CIS company and Irbicon LLC successfully completed the global joint project on optimization large-scale, 30 terabyte corporate data warehouses of bank. As a result of implementation of the project were provided timely formation of the obligatory, management and analytical reporting on Head office and 14 branches and also technology support of a number of the business directions of bank.

Rapid growth of business of Raiffeisenbank in the last years and expansion of a range of the offered products was a basic reason of a project startup on optimization of the data warehouse (DW). As a result the corporate data warehouse existing in Raiffeisenbank within 7 years ceased to correspond to the new scale of business. Also significantly a system data protection from unauthorized access became complicated. Therefore an optimal solution was not another "renovation", and, in essence, creation of the data warehouse on a new technology platform.

As a result of implementation of the project data loading duration from the numerous systems sources in storage was reduced by 2.5 times, information on all reports and loading processes was completely centralized, and the bank had opportunities as flexible management by data streams via graphical interfaces, and linear accumulation of performance of storage by connection of additional hardware capacities without decline in production.

The project was implemented jointly by Raiffeisenbank, SAS Russia/CIS companies and her silver partner - Irbicon LLC.

Today based on SAS storage the problems, major for business, covering many fields of activity of bank are solved: reporting for the head company, the reporting under IFRS and also management reporting. In addition, on the basis of information in HD calculation and risk analysis for the business directions, efficiency analysis of sales of banking products is made, all types of scoring (Application, Behavioral, Collection) and many other things are performed.
