The MEGAPOLIS group reduced costs for non-commercial purchases (for own needs which are not relating to primary activity) by 10 million rubles for the first month of work in SAP Ariba.

Such result was yielded by a new format of the organization of purchasing process. The service for purchase management allowed to consolidate and trace all procedures on the uniform platform. Also efficiency "MEGALOPOLIS" increased accounting of medium-sized purchases which were not taken into account earlier.

"In the first month of productive operation of SAP Ariba we created more than 150 projects, held 5 auctions and turned on in a system more than 330 suppliers. For this period we saved 14% of the budget, and these are more than 10 million rubles. For such project – it is a powerful indicator" — the chief financial officer of MEGAPOLIS Group Alexander Ognev emphasized.

The service for purchase management reflects the status of the specific tender in real time, allows to compare quickly proposals of suppliers in the platform and to manage the course of a procurement procedure. Besides, SAP Ariba due to unification of document creation and electronic document management considerably lowered labor costs and gave the chance to obtain the most transparent information on each carried-out procedure.

2012-2013: SAP SUP (Sybase Unwired Platform)

Megapolis Group and SAP CIS company announced on June 6, 2013 completion of creation of the mobile platform on the basis of SAP.

In 2012 for ensuring high speed of work more than 100 mobile employees, auditors of work with outlets on distribution of beer and soft drinks products, and optimization of their working time, the management made the decision on carrying out a pilot project of implementation of the mobile platform of SAP.

"For the company which is engaged in wholesale it is extraordinary important to have such competitive advantage as the flexible mobile platform integrated directly into the Corporate information system of SAP which allows to see the unrolled picture on work of sales agents and representatives in real time. And also to achieve results regarding quality improvement of the reporting before producers and to minimize time of visit of outlets, without reducing at the same time the quality level of work with them. It also caused the choice of the mobile platform of SAP", - Vladimir Muravyev, the director of information technology of Megapolis Group noted.

Megapolis Group as a result of implementation increased efficiency of control of work of the main field forces, had an opportunity to manage in real time agents, lowered by 15% time for carrying out audit of outlet and lowered infrastructure IT costs.
