Biography

Juliana Yuryevna Slashcheva was born on September 9, 1974 in Moscow. In 1996 she graduated from the Faculty of Marketing of the Moscow Academy of Humanities and Social Sciences with a degree in Economics, Marketing, PR. She began working in her specialty at the first university courses at the American company Quasar Communications.

Becoming in 1994 an employee of the PR company Mikhailov and Partners. Strategic Communications, "went from trainee to director and partner.

In 2002-2004, she headed the corporate communications department at ESN Group, was responsible for external relations of the company and interaction with regional government agencies, partners and the media.

In 2004, she became a partner and consultant to the BBDO Group, led the creation of a PR agency as part of the group.

In 2005, she returned to Mikhailov and Partners and took the post of president of the company.

In August 2013, Juliana Slashcheva took the post of general director of STS Media. STS Media is one of the largest teleholdings in the country, which owns the TV channels STS, Domashny, Che and STS Love. Her appointment raised a lot of questions, as she had no experience working in media holdings and managing television channels. Prior to that, she was president of the Mikhailov & Partners agency, helped businessman Mikhail Prokhorov lead the presidential company.

"Instead of developing new businesses, I had to deal primarily with the sale of the company due to new restrictions for foreigners in the media, fight the fall in the audience of the STS channel, which began before me and all this against the backdrop of a tough drop in the television advertising market due to the economic crisis in the country," said Slashcheva in 2015.

In May 2016, it became known that Juliana Slashcheva would leave the post of general director of STS Media. This was reported by the newspaper Vedomosti, citing sources close to the owners of the holding.

According to the publication, the decision was made by Slashcheva together with the shareholders of the holding. Who will become the new head of the company is unknown. Earlier, newspaper sources close to the National Media Group said that Vyacheslav Murugov, a former general producer of STS Media, could take her position.

Married (husband - founder of Mikhailov and Partners Sergey Mikhailov, who since September 2012 heads the TASS news agency).
