The project is implemented based on software: Autodesk MapGuide, Microsoft SQL Server, AutoCAD Map 3D, Autodesk Navisworks.

Development purpose: The GIS "Historical and Cultural Reference City Map of Moscow" (IC IKOP) is increase in efficiency of activities of the Moscow Department of Cultural Heritage for formation and implementation of state policy in the field of the state protection, preserving, use and promoting of objects of cultural heritage (historical and cultural monuments) of the people of the Russian Federation.

The IC IKOP performs information support of solving of tasks on the state protection of objects of cultural heritage:

• Ensuring safety of the historical and cultural environment and objects of cultural heritage.
  
• Control of a compliance with law in the field of protection and use of objects of cultural heritage, including at approval of town-planning and land management documentation.
  
• Accounting of objects of cultural heritage on the basis of the convenient electronic Historical and cultural reference plan.
  
• Promoting of objects of cultural heritage by providing information on them to the population using evident modern technologies.
  
  

IC IKOP functions:

• collecting, accumulation, storage, maintenance in current status of space and attributive information on objects of historical and cultural reference city map of Moscow;
  
• convenient information access about objects of historical and cultural reference city map of Moscow, including about a change history of their status;
  
• possibility of viewing 3D models of objects of historical and cultural reference city map of Moscow;
  
• formation of documents on the basis of data of historical and cultural reference city map of Moscow.
  
  

Result:

Implementation of the IC "Historical and Cultural Reference City Map of Moscow" allowed to systematize all available information on historical and cultural reference city map of Moscow in the single database, to adjust its updating and to automate work of different managements of department. In 2011 specialists of the company execute integration of the IC IKOP into Uniform geoinformation space of the city of Moscow thanks to what users of a system got access to a bigger data set about immovable objects of the capital.
