Uniastrum Bank completes transition to uniform processing based on SmartVista

In Uniastrum Bank the project on expansion of functionality of a processing center on the platform of a product family SmartVista is begun, the press service of integrator - BPC Bank Technologies reported on July 3, 2013.

Full-scale updating of a processing center - a part of implementation of retail strategy of Uniastrum Bank which includes development, implementation of new products based on bank cards, expansion of customer services, development of remote channels, improvement of services in the field of electronic payments, effective managements of wide ATM network and terminals.

Expectations

A new system will help bank to offer clients new types of cards, to expand functionality of Internet bank, to make it more convenient for clients regarding management of own accounts, and in the long term to offer such new services as mobile and SMS banking. Within implementation of a product family of SmartVista it is necessary to implement technology 3-D Secure which allows to set the additional security level on online transactions with use of credit and debit cards of bank.

In May, 2014 Uniastrum Bank completed full-scale updating of own processing center based on a product family of SmartVista developed by BPC Bank Technologies company. As expected, upgrade of a processing center will allow bank to offer clients new products based on bank cards, to expand functionality of ATMs and terminals, to continue further development of remote services and also to implement new standards of security when carrying out payments.

Within implementation of a product family of SmartVista the technology 3-D Secure which sets the additional security level on online transactions with use of credit and debit cards of bank will be implemented.

In the nearest future after updating of processing the functionality of a system of Internet banking 1Bank will be expanded. Also new services and technologies, including mobile and SMS banking, the Visa and MasterCard smart cards will become available to clients.

Technical works within final project stage on updating of a processing center will be carried out to the period from 11 p.m. on May 16 till 11 a.m. on May 17, 2014. According to Uniastrum Bank, during this period operation of ATMs and the following bank services will be limited: 1Bank Internet bank, operations with cards of Uniastrum Bank.
