TechnoNIKOL starts an information system of sales and operations planning

The TechnoNIKOL corporation with the assistance of Borlas company started in action an information system of sales and operations planning of the business direction on production of stone cotton wool on the basis of applications for the integrated business planning of Oracle Demantra Demand Management - for modeling and demand analysis and Oracle Strategic Network Optimization for planning of transactions, the press service of Oracle company reported on July 9, 2013.

Reason

The specialized information system is created for improvement of operating activities, objective assessment of the situation in the market, obtaining the connected and balanced sales plans and transactions of corporation.

Key function of the system implemented on the basis of Oracle Demantra - creation of the combined expert and statistical forecast. The analytical module of this component allows to increase quality of demand forecasting due to creation of an econometric model and use of special algorithms (for example, Bayesa-Markov's algorithm for combination of different models of time series and factors is used). A system provides the multidimensional analysis (on a product, the region, the buyer, etc.) and allows to reveal causes and effect relationships in the facts of sales with opportunities of the dynamic reporting.

The central block of a system is the detailed integrated supply chain design constructed in Oracle Strategic Network Optimization. It integrates a demand forecast, schemes of supply of production of all plants, storages and deliveries of their products. In a system planning and optimization of material and resource flows is executed, the detailed cost structure and profits is considered. It gives the chance to find an optimal solution in a supply chain, minimizing the cost of flows and maximizing profit.

Result

Creation of a system of the integrated business planning on the platform of the solution Oracle gave necessary tools, as for predictive work and analytics of sales, and for direct planning of production and logistic operations.
