Specialists of SoftBCom company implemented the concept of a communication framework – a complex of infrastructure and application solutions for implementation of VoIP, having completed an implementation project in business processes of Martineks company of the software solution "Asterisk", the press service of integrator reported on July 10, 2013.
Background
Solution core - freely extended system IP telephony "Asterisk" using which IP telephony connected structural divisions with the central office by means of the Internet on VPN IPsec channels.
Platform
Infrastructure issues are resolved so that to provide the continuity of system operation at any failures, including hardware failures, internal network or connection with the Internet. As the platform for Asterisk the failsafe system of virtualization vSphere from VMware is used.
"This project arose because development of the proprietary IP telephony system used by us came to a standstill: on expansion of functionality and number base such means which did not keep within the existing budget framework in any way were required", - Dmitry Chetyrin, the Chief information officer of Martineks group noted.
"The project success was promoted, certainly, by presence at Martineks company of the accurate business reference points which allowed to select surely necessary solutions from all range of opportunities" - Vladimir Dudchenko, the CEO of SoftBCom company emphasized. - In this project the most important task - creation of a system of the corporate level within the limited budget of the company relating to a segment of SMB was successfully solved. The researches conducted by us within this project showed that at attentive approach creation of the system corresponding to the corporate level on functionality and reliability is possible at the cost level characteristic more likely of SMB today. I.e. the low "input threshold" in total with fast payback does similar solutions attractive even for those companies which current plans are not essential and long-term investments".
