Gorelektrotrans transfers to in a row service of the modules GLONASS/GPS on transport

The Transport Online company (enters into group IVO Systems), signed the agreement with state unitary enterprise Gorelektrotrans on hardware maintenance GLONASS/GPS, St. Petersburg set on the city electric transport.

Project Background

Obligatory equipment of public transport the equipment GLONASS or GLONASS/GPS is provided by new rules of licensing of passenger traffic in Russia which began to work since January 1, 2012.

"Systems GLONASS/GPS, according to new requirements of the Russian legislation, are obligatory to installation on public vehicles. Our task – to organize service of this equipment on vehicles of state unitary enterprise "GET" so that trams and trolleybuses came to the line according to the schedule and in necessary quantity", – noted Alexander Kozhekin, the development director IVO Systems.

Project Progress

In accordance with the terms the contract IVO Systems will provide service maintenance and repair and also will create a reserve fund of devices GLONASS/ GPS which will be established on vehicles in case of permanent repairs of earlier installed equipment. Thus, trams and trolleybuses will be constantly equipped with devices GLONASS/ GPS that is important for observance of regulatory requirements to equipment of public transport the systems of satellite monitoring and decrease in idle times.

SUE Gorelektrotrans transfers to IVO Systems service about 1.5 thousand sets of an aircraft equipment for satellite monitoring of transport.
