TD "Goldstein" carries out upgrade of technologies of management and accounting

In Goldstein trading house sales and accounting, a considerable part of managerial functionality are automated. System implementation "1C-Rarus: Shopping complex. Food products" were carried out by 1C-Rarus company, the press service of integrator reported on August 1, 2013.

Preparation of the project

Because of a geographically-distributed structure of shopping facilities of the customer it is difficult to control a status of trade inventories. Despite existence of the accounting system in which the network worked in the mode of distributed databases the most part of work was carried out manually.

Announcing the tender for upgrade of an information system, TD "Goldstein" designated need of sufficient functionality for a scope of all range of managerial tasks on condition of technical support during implementation and after it.

Within the tender specialists 1C-Rarus conducted preproject examination of the shopping facility. A research revealed discrepancies between opportunities of the used accounting solution and the business processes operating at the enterprise. The company won the tender offering the software product "1C-Rarus: Shopping complex. Food products" which functionality conformed to requirements of the retailer.

Project Results

The new information system of TD "Goldstein" helped:

• create a common information space for assortment management and pricing in all shops of network. There was an opportunity on a centralized basis to create an assortment matrix and to set the prices for all divisions.

• create the reference nomenclature reference book of goods. The uniform base of the normative reference information in which goods are most fully described is created, their names and types are unified. Level of regrading and duplication of positions is reduced.

• arrange vendor relations. The accounting system allows to trace quickly working conditions with suppliers, to carry out contrastive analysis of the prices. There was an opportunity to control the goods sold within the advertizing campaigns.

• adjust production management of own products. Time expenditure is reduced by accounting of production of finished goods.

• implement data exchange with "1C: Accounting". The accountant receives the consolidated statements on all business processes.

Alexey Goryunov, the IT specialist of TD "Goldstein", noted:

• Motto of our company "Maximum of Convenience and Attention to Each Buyer". It would be much more difficult to follow it fully without good automated control system. In June of last year when we made the decision on a reavtomatization of shopping facilities, a choice was made for benefit of industry solution of 1C-Rarus company. Before the contractor the wide range of tasks was delivered. As a result of the company it was succeeded to finish and adapt the existing subsystems for unique needs of our retail chain stores with only slight inconvenience. Thanks to the detailed description of work of subsystems and a tirazhnost of the software product, automation took place quickly and without damage to the current workflow. Updating of data at all offices takes read minutes. An opportunity to obtain operational information about a trading activity of the enterprise allows to exercise control over trade inventories competently.
