Ford Sollers carries out reconstruction of SCS

STEP LOGIC company together with PANDUIT company implemented the first two stages of upgrade of IT infrastructure of the Ford Sollers plants in the Republic of Tatarstan, the press service of integrator reported on August 20, 2013.

Project Background

The STEP LOGIC was faced by a major problem of creation of a multiservice failsafe data transmission medium, both for production, and for administrative processes, including reconstruction of the structured cable networks (SCN) of the Ford Sollers plants in the Republic of Tatarstan. The project should be implemented taking into account strict global requirements, the politician and the standards in the field of the IT sphere existing at the Ford Motor Company enterprises worldwide.

Project Progress

Within reconstruction of SCS specialists of STEP LOGIC carried out a complex project and installation and construction works in the territory of two plants Ford Sollers. On the basis of the equipment PANDUIT constructed several tens of kilometers of the new trunk communication fiber lines (CFL), put about 50 distribution communication hubs in operation, about 3 thousand ports for the organization of the automated jobs (AJ) executed installation.
