The Penza state university creates the system of personal data protection

The press service of Softline announced on September 2, 2013 end by the company of the complex project on creation and certification of a system of personal data protection at the Penza state university.

Project Background

According to the current legislation all organizations processing personal data are obliged to provide their safe storage and processing. Besides, the Russian Federation, obligatory for all universities, the procedure of connection of university to the protected data network of the Federal center of testing and entering into an information system of data on the organization, the course and results of acceptance of entrants is.

Based on the held competition, the Softline company became the partner of the CCGT in the project of creation of a system of personal data protection and the organization of the protected connection to FTsT. The project is carried out on the methodology developed in Softline company for implementation of complete solutions on personal data protection.

Project Progress

Specialists of Softline carried out collecting of data on personal data information systems (ISPDN), analyzed business processes and the existing documentation of the customer connected with processing of PDN. It allowed to define the plan of the further actions necessary for creation of an effective system of protection. Within the project engineers of Softline carried out works on identification and classification ISPDN, developed models of security risks and technical specifications on creation of a complex on personal data protection. Softline tested proposed solutions, with the subsequent issue of the certificate of compliance ISPDN k1. During the project the command of Softline performs works on connection of university to the Federal center of testing, including preparation of a set of documents and approval of the selected scheme of connection of the center of testing, delivery and implementation of the certified information security tools.

According to requirements of FTsT at the university secure channels of transfer of personal data on open networks of communication were configured.

Project Results

"Processing of personal data at the university is brought into accord to requirements of the law "About Personal Data". We received all necessary organizational and administrative documentation on quality improvement of information security management regarding personal data protection. Accession to the Federal center of testing will allow us to transfer quickly complete and reliable information about results of the USE going to the university and about acceptance process", - Denis Vasyunin, the deputy head of department of information technologies and telecommunications (UITT) of the CCGT noted.
