Rosatom will create the IT system for the analysis of violations on the NPP

Until the end of 2013 "subsidiary"of Rosatom -the Rosenergoatom Concern performing functions of the operator of the NPP of state corporation is going to complete implementation of the first stage of an accounting system and the analysis of operating experience of nuclear power stations.

As the customer explains, a system is created with the purpose to increase efficiency of operation of the NPP due to use of internal, industry and international experience, knowledge and skills in the field.

In the project documentation it is specified that collecting, accumulation, accounting and data analysis in a system will be conducted in three main directions: indicators of work of the NPP, negative events in work of nuclear power plants (violations, deviations and failures) and positive practicians and also reliability of the systems installed on them and the equipment.

In the first direction on the basis of data on indicators of work of the NPP the company will be able to analyze the reasons of underproduction of the electric power on power units of nuclear power plants, including - at stops and unloadings of separate turbine generators, reactor installations and power units in general, to compare and analyze diagrams of execution of electric load power units of the NPP, etc.

Rosenergoatom expects that results of such analysis will allow the company to plan and exercise control of accomplishment of actions and implementation positive the practician on improvement of indicators of work of the NPP and also to create reports on their accomplishment and to analyze efficiency of similar actions.

Collecting from the NPP of information on violations will be performed for the subsequent profound analysis of their reasons and efficiency evaluation of the taken remedial measures, development of recommendations about warning of repetition of similar violations, the analysis of the reasons and circumstances of emergence of accidents, assessment of importance of negative events and their effects in terms of security in different conditions, etc.

According to the results of the analysis of operating experience in this case a system will be able to provide decision support in the development area of the corrective actions directed to improvement of operation of the NPP, to their planning, control and reporting according to the results of.

As for, systems given on reliability and the equipment of the NPP, as envisioned by Rosenergoatom a system should allow to solve such problems as development of requirements to reliability of the equipment, methods and diagnostic aids and forecasting of its technical condition, development of actions for reliability augmentation and fault tolerance of the equipment.

In addition to data on operating experience of the NPP of Rosenergoatom in a system it is also going to accumulate and make use for the analysis of operating experience of similar objects and other information from the different international organizations, including the World association of operators of nuclear power stations (VAO NPP) and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

Rosenergoatom does not specify preferences on the specific solutions existing in the market based on which a system should be created.
