The TOPS Consulting company created for Svyaznoy of Bank the corporate intranet portal on the Microsoft SharePoint 2013 platform. In the solution approach, essentially new to Russia, to internal communications is implemented: a combination traditional the intranet portal and mechanisms of social network for the solution of business challenges.

The solution created by TOPS Consulting allows to involve the staff of Svyaznoy of Bank in business development, to help better to inform them of values and philosophy of bank and to integrate them on corporate social network for work and communications.

The combination traditional the intranet portal and corporate social network allowed Svyaznoy to Bank to create the uniform platform for joint work, knowledge sharing and informal communication. The intranet portal allows not only to inform of values of the company everyone, but also gives to the employee the chance of discussion of the ideas and all-bank current projects. The most discussed and highly estimated ideas turn into projects.

The new resource helps to strengthen relations between the staff of different divisions, to improve the atmosphere in collective and to involve people in life of bank. Using corporate network employees get acquainted, keep track of activity of each other, watch and the companies discuss topical news, subscribe for the websites interesting them and integrate in communities. Especially for this project in Svyaznoy Bank there took place the corporate photoshoot that people knew each other by sight.

Key feature of social network for business – joint work and the collective solution of business challenges. The new resource provides employees with all materials necessary in daily work: information on internal regulations and procedures, samples of requests, forms, documents, plan of seating of employees, SOS mailboxes and even dictionary of the main terms of bank. Besides, an opportunity to create own libraries of documentation, to organize joint work over documents and, the main thing to integrate in communities on projects is implemented.

For employee involvement to work on new social network Svyaznoy Bank started tender on the most attentive user when within a week wishes and notes from users gathered. At the same time mailing "The intranet is …" in a playful form described different advantages of a new resource. Start of network took place on March 8, 2013, and now it is already used by more than 500 unique visitors a day who do more than 1800 addresses.
