MTS Ukraine (EMC NetWorker)

The Technoserv Ukraine company announced in September, 2013 project completion on upgrade of a backup system and data recovery in MTS Ukraine.

Earlier for reservation of critical business applications of MTS Ukraine two solutions – HP Data Protector and the previous versions of the EMC Networker system were in parallel used. It was respectively necessary to support two systems of different producers, with the control interfaces that increased operating expenses and system maintenance.

Within the project historically developed heterogeneous environment of backup of MTS Ukraine company, was unified based on the software of EMC Networker. Specialists "Technoserv Ukraine" performed works on the EMC Networker software updating which was used in MTS Ukraine, to current versions and also made migration from backup systems of other producers, having provided at the same time the high level of data security demanded by the customer.

As a result of project implementation, MTS Ukraine received the platform having a broad set of means on backup and recovery that will allow flexibly and is transparent to integrate into it new services of the company with the necessary service levels and politicians of data protection. Control of data backup is exercised "from one console", with a role model of access that significantly simplifies administration of a system and, respectively, reduces risks.
