Russian Post plans SAP implementation of ERP

On September 22, 2013 Russian Post announced plans of system implementation of SAP ERP with the assistance of SAP integrator.

In October, 2013 the new strategy of the mail operator which provides implementation of automation systems will be provided.

For September 23, 2013 FGPU experiences difficulties. One of them - lack of the unified information system in which jointly should work: central office, all branches of mail. According to Mikhail Evrayev, the Deputy Minister of Telecom and Mass Communications, the curator of Russian Post - implementation of such system is planned in the next half a year.

Without a system it is difficult to make crucial management decisions quickly, to promote a full-fledged work of control service of quality of the enterprise. The IT system means creation of contact center by means of which each user will be able to use the website of mail and to trace movement of the mailing.

The partner in the ERP system implementation project Russian Post selected SAP company what Vasily Vasin announced, the president of Russian Post R-Style group^[1].

For September 23, 2013 the implementation cost of a system is unknown. Implementation will take from 1.5 to 5 years, reported the press services of the companies.
