On September 24, 2013 the Verint Systems Inc company announced improvements of the solution Nextiva EdgeVR.

2013: Updating

In the new version of Nextiva EdgeVR which entry into the market is expected in September, 2013 all advantages of the built-in network video transmission, including capacity optimization, remote access and reliable analytics of results of observation are used. Functionality of video surveillance allows to perform easily scaling up to 64 IP-and analog cameras. As a part of Nextiva EdgeVR improvements advanced instruments of investigation:

• detection of persons,
• recognition of license plate numbers of cars
• various functions of analytics of video surveillance.

The solution increases profitability and efficiency of security systems in corporate environments of management, control and communications. Support of videowalls and mobile clients is provided.

Improvements

• The analytics of results of observation supports detection of suspicious movements and the analysis of such situations as the directed movement, intersection of line, leaving of objects and disappearance of objects. After a system detects the predetermined movement, it can notify on it authorized personnel by e-mail or the Sms or to transfer the message to the connected systems.

• Detection of persons allows users to cut images of persons in the field of the overview of the camera and to use them for the purposes of investigation. This function allows security service specialists to identify violators in a set of situations.

• Recognition of license plate numbers of cars allows to take information on license plate numbers in the field of the overview of the camera for reconciliation with lists of numbers which are in federal or regional search or in the list of the known numbers.

• Support of the videowall of the center of security provides use of several monitors in the videowall without additional software. This function is created for monitoring of corporate objects and includes support of the user models and patrol and also an opportunity at the same time to browse notifications and forward video broadcasting.

• The mobile client provides to operators of a security service remote access to video and viewing forward video broadcasting and videos from several cameras at once. This application intended for devices with Apple iOS provides 10 predetermined versions of models of the screen, function of scaling and an opportunity to browse the last records from cameras.

• Integration into IP cameras provides support of a new series of the cameras Verint V3300 IP and also cameras of other producers. It provides more full compliance to requirements of specific bank, such as bigger field of the overview and expanded monitoring on inputs and exits of bank department.
