History
2023: Annual healthcare costs in the Tyumen region reached 51.2 billion rubles
The expenditures of the consolidated budget for health care in the Tyumen region in 2023 reached ₽51,2 billion, according to preliminary calculations. This information became known on August 5, 2024.
According to FederalPress, for a 5-year period of time, the end of which fell on 2023, about ₽21 billion were allocated for the implementation of the national project "Healthcare" in the region. These funds are aimed at the construction and repair of polyclinics and feldsher-midwife stations, the purchase of modern medical equipment and sanitary transport.
According to the Department of Health of the Tyumen Region, since 2019, it has been possible to achieve 100% staffing of medium medical personnel and doctors in outpatient clinics. The number of medical staff increased by 6%, and the number of doctors - by 12%.
As part of the development of children's health care in the region, infant mortality has been reduced, and the coverage of preventive medical examinations of children under the age of 17 has been increased to 100%. 198 units of medical equipment were purchased for children's clinics and departments.
It is planned to allocate ₽928,8 million for the modernization of primary health care in 2024. In 2023, ₽917,86 million were allocated for these purposes, of which ₽673,18 million were funds from the regional budget.
In the Tyumen region, lean technologies are actively being introduced into the primary health care system. All primary care medical institutions in the region have switched to a new work model that optimizes the processes of providing medical services.
The region is participating in a pilot project to monitor patient health using remote devices and services - personal medical assistants. There are 200 patients with diabetes and more than 1000 patients with hypertension on monitoring.
The indicator of the provision of doctors in the Tyumen region is 41.9 per 10,000 population, and the average medical staff - 88.4. The most in demand in hospitals are obstetricians-gynecologists, anesthesiologists-resuscitators, neurologists, otorhinolaryngologists, ophthalmologists and local therapists.[2]
2022: Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin allocated 244 million rubles to the Tyumen region for the purchase of medical equipment
At the end of May 2023, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed an order, which allocated more than 244 million rubles for the purchase of equipment for medical institutions in the Tyumen region. As the press service of the Cabinet clarified, these funds will come from the reserve fund of the Cabinet and will help to equip regional hospitals in Tobolsk, Ishim, Zavodoukovsk, Yalutorovsk and the village of Golyshmanovo, as well as their divisions and branches. With the help of federal funding, these institutions will purchase new endoscopes and ultrasound devices, including expert class.
In addition, mobile ophthalmological and dental complexes will be purchased to provide field medical care. Such complexes will allow doctors to conduct examinations and perform small operations in remote and hard-to-reach areas of the region.
The program provides for the construction of two polyclinics, 46 feldsher-obstetric points, 12 medical outpatient clinics. In 35 premises they plan to carry out repairs, as well as purchase more than 2 thousand pieces of equipment, including heavy.
Issues of health care development, including the modernization of its primary level, were discussed during a conversation between Mikhail Mishustin and the Governor of the Tyumen Region Alexander Moor on April 13, 2023 as part of Mikhail Mishustin's working trip to this region. During the meeting, the governor asked the head of government to help with the purchase of new medical equipment and mobile medical complexes. The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation promised to provide financial support and gave the appropriate instructions to the Ministry of Health.
The Governor of the Tyumen Region Alexander Moor noted that the purchased equipment will allow high-quality diagnostics, which will ensure competent treatment and high quality of life.[3]
