SCOUT Server

The SCOUT Server - the central part of a system SCOUT, the server with an installed software and the database management system (DMS), carries out tasks of acceptance, storage and distribution of the data arriving from monitoring modules SCOUT.

Description

Software SCOUT Server allows to accept messages of any number of mobile terminals, both production of SCOUT Group, and other producers. The accepted messages are stored in the database and on demand are transferred to dispatching automated workplaces with the set software SCOUT Explorer. The system of authorization allows to work at the same time with the server to any number of managers with individually configured access rights.

Functions SCOUT Server

• Data reception from any number of the mobile terminals installed on controlled vehicles under the TCP protocol. Mobile terminals it is possible to group, save on them the different reference information;
• Verification of the accepted information on integrity, its decoding, preserving in RAM and the Data Base;
• Formation of response packets for mobile terminals with several options of confirmation (depending on results of integrity checking);
• Display of process of data acquisition from mobile terminals with key parameters of the accepted messages (date time, speed, quality of the working constellation, a status of sensors);
• Creation of any quantity of accounts of clients (managers) of a System SCOUT;
• Determination of access rights for each account (to what GPS/GSM to monitoring modules registered access to each specific manager). It is possible to specify the permitted IP addresses for each account;
• Authorization of the connected clients using technology of enciphering of passwords;
• Issue to again connected clients of information requested by them from RAM and the Data Base;
• Issue to already connected clients of new information on the terminals "permited" it in real time (without the appeal to a DB);
• Relaying of the accepted data on other servers, including the Web server and the server of other producers
• Data transmission to the mobile m.scout-gps.ru interface;
• Conducting billing - account management and their payment (optionally).

2013: SCOUT Server 3.5

On October 8, 2013 to SCOUT Group was announced completion of beta software testing by SCOUT 3.5.

Results of the 9-month test confirmed stable work and high speed of the updated software product. The possibility of tracking several the CU in real time can be implemented now by means of cards 2 GIS, Yandex stopper, CITYGID 7 and the preset address database "The road Russia map".

SCOUT Multislezheniye

In new version 3.5 more reliable and effective methods of acceptance and data storage are used. Significantly process of unloading of data in 1C became simpler.

The purchased licenses for version 3.0 grant the right to use the corresponding functionality and all updates in version 3.5 without restrictions and is free.

In the new software product there are convenient interactive reports, the reliable system of notifications, all functions of so-called "thick client" who works without the Internet.
