Project Task

Preserving of archive of projects which were created for many years of a company performance and also formation of the register of client agreements of service and structuring internal and accounting documentation was the purpose of the organization of electronic archive.

For more than 40th summer history of existence of Sarovgidromontazh company the considerable volume of internal documents collected and there was a question of preserving their reliable storage and quick search acquired materials.

Project Progress

The company management made the decision to automate process of storage and access to all documents of the company using creation of the adapted electronic archive. After market research of the similar systems the system of electronic archive Etla of Atlas Soft company allowing to work without restrictions for types of the stored documents with a possibility of the organization of card files with any object types was selected. Besides, its high performance and such opportunities as work with the module of scanning and recognition of documents became an important selection term of a system. Existence in the Etla system of support of free databases and existence of the module of stream input and registration of the scanned documents which is based on the system of optical text recognition Tesseract developed by Google company was also important factor when choosing a system. The Google Tesseract system is free and allows to receive excellent quality of recognition without the need for acquisition of the additional expensive systems.

Project Result

Transition to electronic archive allowed company management to save for ages all projects created by the company and in general to increase reliability and efficiency of activity of the company due to receiving quick access to necessary data.
